Vedanta Institute (Madras), a public charitable trust, is involved in spreading value based education designed and rendered by Swami Parthasarathy. 


Sunandaji, the daughter disciple of Swami Parthasarathy is its Managing trustee.  Under his guidance, Sunandaji has been imbibing Vedanta, the ancient philosophy of India for over three decades. Dedicating her life to the propagation of Vedanta philosophy, Sunandaji has addressed diverse audiences across four continents for the past twenty years. Her clear and powerful presentation of ancient wisdom in contemporary thought has been acclaimed by prestigious organisations including the Young Presidents’ Organization and many leading universities around the world.

The institute organises lecture series by Swamiji and Sunandaji annually and Gurupurnima Talks, retreats and Seminars conducted by Swamiji. 

The center conducts weekly classes on Swamji’s works on Vedanta and scriptural texts such as the Bhagavad Gita by the alumni of Vedanta Academy run by Swamiji. 

The institute also organises for lectures and classes in schools and colleges and other social groups on the subject. 

The institute handles sales of Books, CDs and DVDs by Swamiji – both online and offline.  

All activities of the institute are run by alumni and volunteers.
